2.1) The application forms for the rendering of services are received in our offices by fax or in writing handed out personally. They must include the following information:
2.2) PRIORITIES:
Those ships which are obliged to have pilotage will take priority over those which can be exempted.
2.3)The application forms for the rendering of services will be accepted only when received within the following time span before the embarkation:

The time periods mentioned can be reduced, provided the client requires so at a convenient moment.
2.4) DELAY:
It will be considered as delay when the beginning of the service, not start at required time (delay embarkation or pilot in charge of the pilotage), when the cause of such a delay is due to the ship itself.
In those cases in which the ship has made a call on other places and the service of pilotage is free from responsibility for the delay, the pilot will remain aboard no more than three hours, from that moment on, the pilotage will be considered finished.
2.5) CANCELLATION:
The service can be cancelled whenever the client requires so or Esem SA disposition if the rules are not completed, there will be no charge when the service has not been begun. In such case, the sea and land transportation will be charged, as well as the corresponding delays, taking into account the time which the man in charge of the pilotage has lasted to go and come back to the office and in case the ship has been used, considering also the time it has taken.
In both cases (2.4 and 2.5) a time span of fifteen minutes will be regarded and charged as an entire hour.
2.6) INTERRUPTION OF THE SERVICE:
If the ship is due to leave and the service must be interrupted due to unfavourable hydro meteorological conditions, either E.S.E.M. S.A. or hoever is in charge of the pilotage together with the Captain of the ship or the Maritime Agency in charge, will agree on any other day when the disembarkation or pilot service begin, is more convenient.
In case the client decides to carry on the journey, the cost of disembarkation will be clients responsibility as well as the cost of transportation by the fastest possible means from the first port where the ship can make a call to the city of Bahía Blanca.
